I am a ‘curious Gemini’ – always a tad unconventional.   I have always been curious about ‘what makes people tick’ – so it was a dream come true to eventually be able to turn that into my profession.

My background was originally in administration, writing, and then later helping to run the family business alongside family life. But, once time allowed, I dipped my toe into the world of ‘alternatives’, qualifying first as a reflexologist and later as an aromatherapist.

However, still not fully satisfied, I felt that there was something more I needed to do. And one day astrology literally found me – as so often happens with this fine, ancient art. I consider myself to be a ‘healthy sceptic’ and my initial attitude, mainly gathered from the inevitable Sun sign columns, was to wonder how long the subject would take to prove itself to be just ‘a bit of fun’.  How wrong I was. As things turned out I was blown away by astrology’s steadfast accuracy and powerful ability to reflect both actual events and psychological dynamics.

I went on to study the subject in depth and, as, of course, only a typical Gemini would, I eventually in 2007 graduated from two schools simultaneously – astrologycollege.com and the London School of Astrology. I have further expanded my astrological toolkit by going beyond the more psychologically based western techniques to learn the more traditional classical methods, such as horary. I have also achieved an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology with the University of Wales, Trinity St. David.

I am a fellow and member of the Association of Professional Astrologers International (APAI) .  I have had a professional practice, mainly via zoom, for some 15 years. I have recently begun teaching and my work covers a cross section of new clients, returning clients together with those wishing to elect good dates for events such as the opening a new business as well as those asking personal horary questions.

Astrology in my opinion guides us at ‘soul’ level, allowing the soul to fulfil its potential. Aside from the obvious satisfaction gained from helping people through astrology, my biggest astrological interest has come to be the ‘cycles of life’ and how civilisation and culture is informed by the planetary cycles of the slower moving planets.   They form the heartbeat of civilisation, taking society forward into the future.  They ARE the evolutionary astrology of the macrocosm.   The future informs the present because our destination is shown by the cycles of the future, but they operate within the context of the backdrop which is the result of the creation of the cycles of the past.  Today’s stage is the context created by the past, as we co-create the stage set of the future.
