Are we human or are we dancer(s)?
Do you find that some songs stick in your mind? Human by the Killers is one of those for me. Released in 2008, at the time I didn’t really understand the true significance of the words. The lyrics were said to have been inspired by the view that America was raising a generation of dancers – people who walk in lockstep, afraid to step out of line. When I think of someone dancing, I think of freedom of movement and dancing in tune with their own emotions, but, of course, in most cases the dancer is completely choreographed to dance in tune and in step with all the other dancers. Who today is creating our current choreography?
I did my best to notice
When the call came down the line
Up to the platform of surrender
I was brought, but I was kind
We think we have free will, but the song is asking if, by equating the people with choreographed dancers, do we really have a free will? Or has the human race become dancers?
Will your system be alright
When you dream of home tonight
There is no message we're receiving.
Let me know, is your heart still beating?
Your system here is your system of trained beliefs that you've been dancing to for so long. The writer is saying we are getting nothing out of this on a personal level, no message at all. So, therefore, are we human? Which would also further beg the question - what even is it to be human?
Are we human
Or are we dancer?
My sign is vital
My hands are cold
And I'm on my knees
Looking for the answer
Are we human
Or are we dancer?
People need to step outside the set choreography to follow their own beat, rather than just obediently and unchangingly following the steps they have been taught.
And sometimes I get nervous
When I see an open door
Close your eyes, clear your heart
Cut the cord
So used to being told what to do, the sight of an open door symbolises the fear of trying new things. The answer, therefore, is to find our courage and cut the cord of all behaviour that has been learned so we can open up to new possibilities. Once one thing is seen for what it really is, then all things can be seen differently.
The choreography we are being asked to dance to now is closely allied to a variety of Trojan horses, created by a murky deep state shadow government that sets rules, concealing their long-term implications inside a Trojan horse. Astrologically this has been fuelled by the socio-economic era heralded by the new Jupiter/Saturn era in 2020, and now a speeding up/disruptive energy provided by the recent Jupiter/Uranus conjunction could either disrupt the equilibrium and security of our lives (Taurus) or disrupt our learned behaviour.
All New Moons are times of new intentions and new possibilities which can allow us the potential to see things differently. On May 8th we have a New Moon in Taurus with five planets in the Fixed Earth energy of Taurus. We still have the bookends of Fixed energy to the line-up of planets – the Taurus planets at one end and Pluto in Aquarius at the other – giving us a feeling that we cannot break out and break free. But we can!! Fixed energy also gives determination and perseverance – the view that if we just dig down and dig in, we can get past this. And we certainly do need these qualities, but if there is an overload of fixed energy, we have fixed behaviour and the dogma that we see so much of now.
Taurus wants to see tangibles – things that we can touch that reinforce our inner feeling of security. In our lives today that is usually represented by owning our own home, having enough money in the bank, seeing nice things around us that we own. But this comes with its own shadow – we always want more! Taurus wants to see the safety of things staying the same - but the nature of life is uncertainty.
We also have a strong line up in the go-getting action sign of Aries - Mars (the ruler), North Node and Mercury. This is highly positive, particularly as Mars will meet the North Node (destiny potential) on May 19th and will then go on to re-trigger the degree of the Solar Eclipse we had in April. This is great energy for bringing in some new beginnings and, therefore, new ways of thinking and behaving. With Jupiter and Uranus having just ‘bumped’ into each other, we can now take advantage of their hugely ‘disruptive’ energy and begin to ‘suddenly’ awaken and see through new and different eyes. This is a ‘chink of light’ at the end of a tunnel as Jupiter goes on to change from slow ploddy Taurus into Gemini on May 26th, the exact same day that Mars will reach the degree of the Solar Eclipse last month. With these changes the air becomes less heavy and more focussed - we can feel burdens lifted and much more ready to act much more decisively. The New Moon by its position, highlighting Jupiter and Uranus, is asking us to embrace this new energy within our new intentions, whilst using the positive attributes of perseverance within the Taurus energy. However, it is also telling us to not leap in without thinking – Jupiter is sitting on the most malefic fixed star in the sky in the form of Algol. Make the changes, but bring in critical thinking.
Neptune is at the anaretic 29th degree of Pisces where he will perhaps display his more shadow qualities, but he hardly moves and is still at that 29th degree in July when he turns retrograde. He doesn’t actually dip his toe into Aries until the very end of March 2025, so we need to get a handle on what this shadow energy will churn up and how we should best deal with it. Neptune’s shadow qualities include lies, deception, veiling of the truth, confusion, lack of clarity – all things that we see in front of us all the time, particularly from our politicians and from the media. The shadow side of Neptune worships the glitz and glamour of celebrity status – the illusion of what is not real. We have allowed the self to be enthralled by such so-called celebrities, but really they are just hollow and empty; and we have allowed the propaganda of the media (Neptune) to provide our ingrained beliefs. However, Neptune also symbolises compassion, spiritual abilities, the sense of just ‘knowing’ rights and wrongs. We have choices – apathy or intuitive activity.
In the days leading up to a New Moon the moon is not visible – we call this period the Dark of the Moon. Unlike the New Moon, though, the Dark Moon isn't a time for manifesting, but more of a moment for contemplation and consideration of what we do wish to manifest. In the dark of the night all the stars shine brightly; as Thomas Moore in his book the Dark Night of the Soul said, ‘do not fear the darkness, for it is in the night that the stars reveal their beauty’. In the dark of the moon, as we go from the brightness of a Full Moon to the sliver of the New Moon as it reappears in the sky, this is when we find the ‘dark night of the soul’, the crisis that puts us on to a new and more illuminated path. This is when we have to ‘feel’ our way through, towards what is veiled and concealed from us. This is how we find the bliss of the ‘divine’ and that is what true riches are all about – more money will never give us that.
And being human is all about the intangibles; how we feel inside, what our heart wants. As we stand at a pivotal point of the next phase in the development of humanity the question of ‘are we human or are we dancer’ has never been more important in my opinion. Cutting the cord to the choreography and reconnecting with our Spirit or Daimon, the character that drives our soul, as the Greeks used to discuss, is vital; particularly in an age defined by both censorship and cognitive dissonance together with the mind influencing techniques that desire blind obedience – all happy and desired bedfellows within the society desired by the technocratic elite. The tangibles are the image that money brings, how big a house we live in, new clothes in the wardrobe. But that’s not what we are remembered for. Our thoughts are intangible. Our beliefs are intangible. Our desires and our goals are intangible.
Much as we might disagree with the way AI is being used by the technocratic elites, mainly in terms of surveillance, the genie is out of the bottle - we cannot stop it so how can it be used for our benefit? If AI is introduced more as man’s ‘slave’ our views would be different. But it appears as though its uses are more in terms of control – back to my title: are we human or are we dancer? And at a point where the goal seems to be one where human curiosity is being dumbed down and denied, it has never been more important to be as humanly curious as we can be in order to reach an age where AI helps us to go forward. Imagine a fork in the road – one way leads to the road of the rule-following dancer and the consequences of that, and the other to the road of beneficial possibilities.
Are we intended to become partly inorganic, or possibly non-organic, entities to serve the moneyed (Taurus) elite? The goal of the elite appears to be transhumanism as spoken about by Ray Kurzweil, a part of which is developing superhuman abilities and finding the key to living forever – but obviously that’s not for the great unwashed. Kurzweil told us years ago that we would reach singularity; where our brains are uploaded and connected to a global sensor grid and global mind - a hive mind where opinions are all the same and non-deviating. This would allow an unscrupulous, repressive and militaristic controlling corporate/government partnership to operate, whilst preserving their own privileged lives.
Humanity has progressed through from the age of the hunter/gatherer of early times, to the industrial era of 1800-1950. Now we are in the technological age facing the prospect of biological convergence - singularity. The message from big business/corporates will be that we will need the chips implanted within us in order to compete with machines. Nanoid robotics is an emerging technology field creating machines or robots, which are called nanorobots or simply nanobots, whose components are at or near the scale of a nanometer - one nanometer is one billionth of a metre!!! It's difficult to imagine just how small that is – but for instance a sheet of paper is about 100,000 nanometers thick. That is technology that has the potential to be inserted into our bodies! Of course, we are told that the technology is not there yet and that we are ridiculous to even think it would be used. Maybe it isn’t there yet, but we were also told that weather was not engineered!
Let’s just imagine a nanobot world. A nanobot can be introduced into the bloodstream and is programmable. Not only would this be used in terms of medical measurements of our body, it would also allow a type of ‘under the skin surveillance’ as explained by the WEF front guy Yuval Noah Harari. Such technology would enable governments and corporations (they are now indistinguishable, explaining the disappearance of GDPR) to monitor not just what we do, but what we think and how we feel. Harari added that he thought it likely that “people could look back in 100 years and identify the Coronavirus epidemic as the moment when a new regime of surveillance took over, especially surveillance under the skin’.[1] His comments indicate that nano capability is achievable.
A report for NASA way back in May 1963 – entitled the CYBORG programme - documented the integration of man into a man-machine complex”.[2] It was designed to understand through modelling concepts how the biological design of man would interface with compatible hardware systems. This came just one year after the CIA’s MK-ULTRA mind control programme which explored ‘techniques of activation of humans by remote electronic means’.[3] This was based on discoveries that the brain irradiates extremely low frequencies and the brainwaves could be manipulated electromagnetically. Since this time the CIA has apparently had an intention to control and manipulate human beings for the purpose of intelligence gathering.
Consciousness is what it’s like to be individually us. It is our individual awareness of our unique thoughts, memories, feelings, sensations and environments. It is all our experiences, our pains and our joys. Awareness of self is recognition of that consciousness. If our essential self or nature becomes veiled and ‘forgotten’ by today’s influences, then how we achieve peace and happiness becomes obscured. What we crave in terms of this peace and happiness cannot be derived from objects, substances, activities, however refined they may be – it comes from an inner feeling within our hearts and souls. We have so much ‘stuff’ and yet it seems people have never been more unhappy – so it feels as though it has never been more important to dance to the beat of our own soul’s path rather than someone else’s path.
My view is that we need to be aware of the more unpleasant desires for our future but with balance. If we dwell too much without the ability to laugh and sing, this is not the dance of our souls. We cannot cut the cord of dogma and fixed beliefs and revive the cord to Spirit and the Daimon if we have no awareness of what we are cutting off from. And do we really want to be merged with the inorganic invasion of our bodies? To know that we don’t want it, we have to be consciously aware that many of the dogmas we are blindly following lead to something that is desired for us but which is actually very undesirable. It is profoundly difficult to consider that our government, who we have always been trained to believe will look after us and protect us, might not have the concern for us that we think. But when we have a merging of governments with corporates, with an obvious goal of money and profit, then the idea of altruistic politicians becomes something long forgotten. Collaboration between big business and governments, together with the potentials of AI puts us as humans into the fight of our lives as we endeavour to retain our human consciousness and not live the life of just ‘dancers’. Problems that didn’t exist are created to turn the masses into dancers in order to implement the desired solution that will turn out to be totally undesirable for the people.
On the surface many ideologies that are being brought in seem highly desirable. But it is the Trojan Horse effect that needs consideration. One of these is the push for assisted dying. We all have to go through death and no one wants a painful death for ourselves or our loved ones. We don’t let an animal suffer. But in a world of 7 billion + people where governments and local governments are bankrupt, pension pots have been plundered and the corporates are in charge looking for extra profits everywhere, then it’s not hard to see how this law could be abused in an effort to cut the population. As medical availability is cut the elderly may not be deemed worth the cost of treating.
Wars, that for sure benefit some corporates as well as the military industrial complex, disrupt once peaceful areas and produce migration. This in turn produces so much unrest to the areas that have been migrated to that the public begs for a digital identity so that those who should not be there can be identified. This then allows for the surveillance bringing with it both financial and social monitoring.
The fight for net zero brings extra revenue for the corporates as the masses have to pay more to continue their everyday life. Convinced and shamed that climate change is their fault, they agree to things that will eventually make their lives miserable, such as low traffic neighbourhoods and confinement to a 15 minute area for instance - only the lowly people though! And yet climate and weather are complex subjects that cannot be broken down to just the level of CO2.
Be aware of what makes your heart tick so that you can really dance to the beat of your soul’s path. Be conscious and aware of what is happening in the world in order to choreograph your own dance. But never forget to enjoy the dance, have fun and laugh along the way. As Snoopy said when he was told we only live once:
‘no, we only die once, we live everyday’.
