False Flags, Hyperbole and Magic – A Warning
This is a strong quarter Moon in her own sign of Cancer. Not only does she stand with the UK Moon and resonates, therefore, with the people of the UK, she is part of a very harmonious pattern which features in the sky. She is able to take advantage of a major aspect which aligns exactly in just a few days’ time, the Jupiter Neptune conjunction. This is the stuff of dreams, spirituality, intuition and magic on the positive side, as well as exaggerative propaganda, instability, hypersensitivity, hyperinflation, illusions and deceptions on the negative. This quarter Moon is super sensitive and capable of accessing her intuitive senses if she allows herself.
The chart set for the UK has Pluto (transformation, control, power) on the Midheaven and the North Node (karmic destiny) on the Ascendant (astrologically anything on ‘angles’ such as these are points that manifest strongly). In some way our futures are being transformed and ‘realigned’ - we have big changes to make in how we live our lives. We can make it hard for ourselves or we can adapt and change to the needs of our futures.
This Moon is part of a really lovely alignment with Jupiter/Neptune and with our destiny axis, so there is some great energy that we can draw upon. The problem with these lovely, harmonious aspects is that they are ‘lazy’ energy that we take for granted to always be there when we want it. We are more likely to change with the more difficult, painful stuff – we don’t have a choice then. The negative side of this Jupiter/Neptune conjunction is happening in terms of the propaganda, the deceptions and the signs of looming hyperinflation. Individually we can’t control this, but we can control our own reactions and our subsequent actions.
The propaganda machine is off the Richter scale – we can’t control how that is being used to form people’s opinions, but we can control how we react to it. And the thing is that the energy also works well in reverse – that is to say it is easy to manipulate the people towards some kind of change of social behaviour, particularly via lies and media run propaganda. So, it would certainly be advantageous to be empowered ourselves in the first place.
Today’s world has too few people in control of monetary assets which means that too few people are in a position to make some very crucial decisions that can manipulate governments and affect the lives of millions. It seems that the more money you have the more you want, so you want it all – all the world’s money and control over all the world.
All war, whoever is doing the fighting, is ugly, unfair, inhumane and cruel. And most wars are fought over something one side has that the other wants. Generally, this has a monetary value. Ukraine has rich agricultural land, minerals, oil within the more Russian controlled areas and it is a bridge between East and West. That’s quite a bit to fight over.
The first quarter Moon is the manifestation of a seed that was planted at the New Moon, but not just from this month’s moon story. It also refers to a larger story – one that began in July of last year. This was a point that Boris described as Freedom Day, a day when restrictions were lifted, and the economy could be kickstarted due to the success of the vaccine rollout and the government’s so-called amazing efforts. However, in the background cases of sickness were soaring and the pat on the back was seen to be failing. At the same time in France and Greece we saw the beginnings of protests against mandates that eventually spread around the world. The people were beginning to show signs of breakdown – they wanted to believe all they were being promised but the facts weren’t backing this up.
At the same time, Putin was giving his first hints on Russia’s relationship with Ukraine. In a public speech in July 2021, he cited the blood ties that have united the two countries for generations that ‘make them stronger and more successful together’. In his eyes ‘we are one people’ being divided by the meddling of others.
What we can see at this quarter Moon is that the Moon (the people) wants peace, but the Sun (the leaders) does not, despite every caring image they choose to project. The Sun is using the power of all sorts of alliances and organisations to win the narrative of his battle and the people are being deceived.
I am in no way underestimating the strength of this Moon; she is thrifty, money savvy, instinctive and highly creative. But there is a realignment of our future taking place at the same time as the greatest Superpower, in the form of the USA, is going through the huge transformation of its Pluto return. Empires grow and empires change and other powers who want to be the top dog sense weakness in the same way a wild animal seeks its prey.
Whilst there are some amazingly strong and inspirational energies to be grasped right now my concerns lie in the fact that people have a ‘manana’ attitude to it – one that says it will always be there tomorrow when they choose to take advantage of it. The veil cushions them into thinking everything will be ok, the government cares about its people and everything will continue fine. Bad stuff only happens in the movies. Well right now I’m not sharing their confidence. Greed and war are behind that mist, galloping in fast and we are not seeing it because we are consumed by propaganda and false illusions. We have to drop the apathy and take some creative risks that are new and different. Our world, our earth is about to shaken and stirred – we haveto conjure up some spiritual magic, and it has to be now.
