Liquid Intelligence
On July 5th, one day after the UK elections, we have a New Moon in Cancer – a new beginning which has the potential to affect our futures, as shown by the New Moon square to the nodes (the destiny axis). The Moon, symbolic of the people, is at home in her own sign – she is strong. The people take this as a new start for them that they hope will bode well. The sign of Cancer is a Cardinal (taking action), water sign and at the New Moon there are two other planets in water signs – Saturn and Neptune, both in Pisces and both retrograde. So a leaning towards the Water element in this chart.
The element of Water carries our emotions, our sensitivities and our instinctive behaviours. Water extinguishes Fire, and washes away Earth. Water will meander and ‘go with the flow’ to find its own path, just as the riverbed finds its own flow around rocks and obstacles. Natural rivers are never straight – they meander. Water yields and gives way but too much water can lead to overwhelm. Water washes through Air. Water contains memories of the past and all life is born from the waters of the body, bringing with it memories of the ancestors. Water’s actions are subtle and, whilst Cancer is an action sign, its mode of action may not be direct. Think of the crab as symbolised by Cancer – the crab gets where he wants by travelling sideways and protecting himself along the way within his shell.
In the New Moon chart for the UK (set for London) Pisces rises and Neptune, Pisces’ ruler, is at the anaretic 29th degree and is the first planet we meet in the first house, symbolic of the body politic of the UK as a whole. Pisces rising and Neptune’s placement at the very end of the sign suggest to me ‘wishy washyness’ at best and deception and lies at worst. Both main contenders, Sunak and Starmer, certainly fit that bill for me and we have an election where it seems that the outcome is planned – a mere passing of the baton. Neptune’s degree placement at this point could well denote loss, shortages, sickness credit/money issues. Debt and ‘soft money’ are also very ‘Neptune at 29 degrees’ words. Can the debt ceiling go any higher for much longer? And Neptune remains at 29 degrees until September – it is a warning.
With both Saturn and Neptune both retrograde now we are being asked to go back and re-consider, just as a ‘new prince’ arrives on the block. He arrives with Neptune’s love of showbiz, glitz and glamour and brings a new party to centre stage. Nigel Farage is saying all the right words and making the right noises and, as such, he brings a real threat to Labour’s supposed ‘landslide’ defeat of the Tories. And, with both Tory and Labour parties compromised by the capitalist/corporate desires of the WEF, the noise Reform is making is welcome (even though I wouldn’t trust Farage himself any further than I could throw him). But, they are the only party calling out the agenda on many things, including the war in Ukraine to the utter shock of many and shattering illusions.
The Sun and Moon both sit with the Fixed Stars Sirius and Canopus. The Fixed Stars are just as it says on the tin; they only move at around one degree a year, so they are like the old faithfuls that can be relied upon to still be where we last saw them in the sky, whilst the planets ‘wander’. Canopus lies within the great ship the Argo. The wood this ship was built from was said to have magic powers which helped and guided Jason in his search for the Golden Fleece. Alongside Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, Canopus was known as the Bright One. The Argo was a vessel who led the way, whilst Canopus links with leadership and how leadership can either be inspirational or destroy. Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, is associated in myth with Isis the wife of Osiris linking Sirius with great and sacred deeds as well as a sense of martyrdom.
Pisces, the rising sign, is governed by two planets - Neptune and Jupiter. Neptune sits with Fixed Star Scheat, the Flying Horse Pegasus, and positioned in the first house could signify a sacrificing of the self, which links very nicely with my earlier comments on Neptune’s degree position. Is the nation sacrificing itself, or is it rather being sacrificed? Jupiter sits with Fixed Star Aldebaran, the eye of the sacred bull and Mithra who slayed the cosmic bull. Aldebaran symbolises success coming only via integrity and the maintaining of honour and integrity at all times. So, if we have Neptune potentially bringing deceit and underhandedness and Scheat symbolising self-sacrifice, whilst Jupiter itself carries a sense of weakness in Gemini, are we really seeing perhaps a lack of both honour and integrity?
Saturn and Neptune are now just ten degrees apart –they are getting in range of coming together, although they do not meet exactly until Spring of 2026. This will likely be a ‘slap in the face ‘moment’, where we suddenly see the reality of what we can’t see, what is hidden from us. If people can’t see the world even remotely clearly at the moment, this may just be the point when they are shocked into reality, realising how much their life has been an illusion.
Mars and Uranus are closing on each other as they ready themselves to meet right on the Fixed Star Algol, the most evil star in the sky, July 15/16. What could be better than the God of War meeting the Sky God that symbolises disruption and revolution? Is this the moment we see some kind of false flag which takes us in a problematic direction, because it certainly has the potential to be quite ominous? Interestingly, this meeting happens just days after the 2024 annual NATO summit in Washington – its 75th anniversary. NATO’s purpose 75 years ago was to defend Europe against Russian communism. When communism collapsed, maybe it should have been disbanded. Instead, just as the seemingly rudderless USA seeks to hang on to its Number One power status, so NATO has its steel toe boots on so it can prove its relevance, just as the Reform party are now saying.
And then in mid-August we have the first of three hits of the first Jupiter/Saturn square since they began their new 200-year cycle in 2020. Jupiter/Saturn aspects mark socio-economic developments, so will this perhaps be a marker of economic issues, as we are seeing a ‘conflict’ angle? When I speak to people in business they constantly remark that ‘things just don’t seem right’. In summary July and August highlight key points for 2024 in the astrological calendar – a point exactly when the UK is virtually leaderless (remember the leadership symbols mentioned earlier in the fixed stars?) We have a new untried government, maybe even one who does not have a working majority perhaps – and on top of that they are straight away on their summer holiday!!
In the last blog I spoke about the miraculous workings of our bodies that many of us just do not value enough. This time I want to talk about the ‘element’ of this New Moon sign – water, its miraculous properties and how it really can be classed as ‘liquid intelligence’. Water is essential to life – there can be no life without water and in creation mythology worlds were typically born out of the primordial waters, as both Gods and humans emerged from the oceans.
As the first specks of life emerged from the oceans and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere enabled photosynthesis to create balanced ecological systems, our planet began to evolve. It is continually evolving and changing which is why our climate will always be changing. Everything works in harmony and trying to artificially remove a crucial element from our evolution such as carbon, which is so vital to life, will likely end in disaster.
A few facts about water: The average human body is made of up to 90% water. The brain is 80% water. 71% of the earth’s surface is water and 97% of that is ocean. Only 3%, however, is fresh water and of that only about 1.2% can be used as drinking water. And yet we allow companies and corporates with no alliance to our nation to be in charge of our most precious commodity. We have allowed greed to permit big pharma to put toxic chemicals into our children and big water to pump sewage into our rivers and seas – to fuel their own greed, leaving the ordinary person to eventually have to pay to rebuild the infrastructure. But you can never compensate for health.
Water is the only one of the elements that can appear in different forms – solid as in ice, liquid as in running water, gaseous as in steam and in a vapour in the form of fog or plasma energy. I’ve spoken before about Aristotle’s fifth element – ether. I think this is our atmosphere – plasma energy – and our atmosphere contains water. Plasma energy carries along with it information and intelligence, a stored intelligence of everything that has existed since time began. It fills the space we see above us, and this reflects, in my opinion, the sign of Aquarius. Aquarius symbolises the air and the sky, which is why modern rulership was handed to Uranus, the Sky God. But then weirdly Aquarius is symbolised by the water bearer. Could those waters actually be the cosmic waters – plasma intelligence? Those who have researched water would say that even our thoughts can transfer into crystallised water.[1] What information did ancient water bring with it when it left outer space and fell to earth? Is water living? Does water have consciousness? Could we actually call water extra-terrestrial? Just like our bodies we undervalue water – it really is liquid intelligence. But we must value water at its purest.
Both Saturn and Neptune are in the water sign of Pisces and, particularly when Neptune, Pisces ruler, first entered the sign in 2011 many astrologers predicted potential issues with water, maybe even wars over waters and possibly over clean water; and that is still a possibility. Perhaps we should have turned it around slightly and have foreseen water being used as a weapon against us. Back in 2011, if my memory serves me correctly, we were becoming proud of the water quality of our rivers as salmon were being encouraged to return to the Thames. Fast forward to now and since Saturn, the planet of reality, entered the sign in 2023, the state of the quality of the water in our rivers and coastal areas is quite a different story – it is frankly disgusting with pollution and sewage being pumped in by the water companies. It could literally be a weapon against us and our health.
In fact three out of the four elements of Fire, Earth, Air and Water are now compromised by human behaviour. The earth has been stripped of all nutrients by our intensive and abrasive farming methods and our use of glyphosates and fertilisers. The Air is polluted by geo-engineering methods and other airborne toxins. Our drinking water is compromised by heavy metals and added chemicals such as fluoride, a known neurotoxin that impedes cognitive development; whilst our rivers and seas are knowingly being polluted with sewage.
It surely cannot be too long before the alarm sounds (Saturn/Neptune). If we won’t face reality willingly, we will be forced to. Already this year in my own garden I see no bees at all hovering, as they always have for many years, on my large lavender bush. Crops are seemingly much smaller this year – what will the harvest look like this August (Jupiter square Saturn)? Or is this just a localised occurrence?
Within nature there is harmony. There is also frequency and vibration. Sounds of the same frequency resonate.[2] Like-minded people resonate, just as like-minded animals resonate because they generate similar frequencies. When frequencies are fundamentally incompatible, they cannot resonate. A sad person emits a sadness frequency, a joyful person a joyous frequency and a loving person the frequency of love. When humans act from greed, such as from capitalism and corporate greed within lifestyles of mass consumption, they destroy the harmony within nature.[3] And that is very much what we are seeing in our world today. For instance, what indeed happens to the frequencies when an animal kept for our food sees only robotics to care for it.
Research carried out on water by people such as Masaru Emoto and Veda Austen shows that water mirrors the vibrations created in the world and expresses the messages that it ‘feels’. Experiments have shown that water crystals produce images of thoughts within them. Water feels, but not from angry thoughts – these are the result of a culture created by humans. We only find these ice crystals in pure water from good thoughts. Crystals don’t form in polluted or chlorine treated water. Polluted water is equal to a polluted consciousness.
There is a resonance through the whole of nature – a continually evolving morphogenetic field that conveys a collective instinctive memory. The brain has a resonance with its own past and within the whole of nature. Social groups within the animal world share this, as do human societies within the culture of the group. It explains things like telepathy and animal navigation and migration. We may consider ourselves of high general intelligence, capable of running the world, but what indeed do we actually know?
