Saving Fish from Drowning
The notion of being able to save a fish from drowning is basically a moral tale of excusing inexcusable behaviour, such as taking a life. It emanates from a story told on the Burma Road from China to Myanmar.[1] A fisherman scooped fish from the river; then once the fish gasped for air and subsequently died, he was freed from his moral code of ‘do not kill’ and was ethically able to take the fish to market and sell them. As a side effect, also, his ‘selfless act’ has provided food for those who otherwise might starve – so he can tell himself he is indeed a good person.
Many today profess to be acting for the good of society in the name of ‘saving fish from drowning’, but instead they are carrying out evil acts in disguise. For instance, political behaviour where countries invade other countries ostensibly to save people for their own good, perhaps from so-called despot leaders and/or show them a ‘better way of life’. Such actions, however, carry collateral damage as people die as an unfortunate consequence. Not much different either to the ‘philanthropist’ who considers that the only way to save our planet Earth is to reduce its population, which he does perhaps via a medicinal treatment that is marketed as ‘for the greater good of the people’. However, the people in the main don’t die from the illness because their bodies have been created to know how to fight such issues, but instead they fall sick from the medical treatment itself, with a proportion eventually dying. However, the proponent of the medical treatment can happily claim that he was just trying to save the people, and as a side effect he actually carried out his own agenda of reducing its population – he can tell himself he is a good person.
The Full Moon in Cancer on June 22nd falls in between the Summer Solstice on June 20th and Midsummer’s Day on June 24th. In folklore this period was one of celebration of fertility and the vitality of the Sun that would hopefully promote growth and a successful harvest. Bonfires were lit and jumped across to ensure prosperity, protection of the crops and the warding off of evil. The Full Moon falls at 1 degree of Capricorn, very close to a point which has significance for the world as a whole – the world point - accentuating the pivotal times astrology shows we are living through. At this Full Moon the Moon is weak in Capricorn, as she looks across at the Sun who has taken over her own rightful sign of Cancer. The Moon links to the mother, to the feminine and to our emotions; but not just to our emotions – she is our spirit and the ‘vessel in which we sail’ - our bodies; the Sun represents the vitality of our bodies, as well as its structure.
Full Moons mark the halfway point in the monthly lunar cycle – just as the longest day of the year represents a mid-point in the Sun’s annual cycle. Full Moons symbolise events coming to a climax, with a full light that allows us to see situations as they really are. A Moon in Capricorn shows how our bodies and spirits have been weakened, even though we have the benefit of medical advances that was supposed to make us stronger. Our bodies are designed to self-heal, but we have been conditioned to believe that we need outside agents to do that for us – we have forgotten just how amazing and miraculous our body really is, as an integrated and finely balanced system. Our minds and our brains connect with two other areas of bodily brain function – the heart and the gut. The heart has its own intrinsic nervous system – the heart brain – composed of approximately 40,000 neurons similar to the neurons in the brain. It is thought that they contribute to the decision-making process, as well as both short-term and long-term memory. The heart neurons have been observed to be able to act independently of the head brain. Therefore, the heart brain can learn, remember, feel and sense; it is an intelligent organ capable of independent cognitive functions. It follows, therefore, that the heart is part of our consciousness. The vagus nerve connects the brain to the gut which contains some 500 million neurons. The gut ‘brain’ gives us our instincts, and the feelings associated with those instincts, such as ‘butterflies’ in the stomach. So my three-brain theory that I talk about a lot is absolutely feasible – all individual parts of a truly integrated and amazing system.
Events between the New Moon and the Full Moon: Election time in Europe –Big shocks incoming as the people begin to want more populist governments.
Saudi Arabia exits the petrodollar scheme after 50 years and no longer has to sell its oil in US dollars. Add this to the growing BRICS influence and are we seeing a weakening of the world’s number one superpower, led by a leader who has passed his ‘use by’ date?
World Health Assembly meeting concluded June 1, just before the New Moon. The meeting failed to achieve agreement on the wording of the proposed WHO pandemic treaty but, arrogantly in a violation of its charter and in blatant disregard of established rules, amendments were prepared behind closed doors and accepted by the Assembly in the last moments of the meeting.
In the US the House of Representatives passed a new version of the National Defence Authorisation Act allowing the government to automatically pull records from other federal databases to enrol men aged 18-25 into the draft system.
Because maybe nothing of significance stood out at the two biggies of the astrological calendar – the big Solar Eclipse and the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction, both in April, we perhaps have forgotten that we are still under the influence of these two events. We stand at a point in the cycle of civilisation where AI and technology (very Jupiter/Uranus) appear to be about to dominate how we live, as the tools ‘to save us from drowning’. AI is intended to be in control as we enter the era of the InternetofThings, whilst the InternetofBodies will diagnose our illnesses and the food we grow will be synthesised to produce enough un-natural food in a time where the geoengineered weather acts as a lottery for a good harvest.
But is it rather the InternetofBrains scenario where human brains connect to the internet to facilitate brain to brain communication and enable access to online data networks that should worry us more? Patrick Wood describes AI consciousness as a synthetic ‘devil-ution’. He considers that synthetic life will evolve exponentially ‘wildly faster than the progress of the entirety of organic life’. But where it will lead is a great unknown!! It may gain super intelligent abilities that render its understandings unfathomable to human intelligence. Gerald Celente in Trends Journal comments that AI systems are being massively exploited to drive the bulk of wealth and power of the technology to a few monolithic technology corporations and to governments. He also goes on to say that AI will ‘jailbreak any boundaries and guardrails’ devised and transform its environment according to its own assessments of what is best.
As the movement towards achieving singularity moves forward, a Swiss start up claims its Neuroplatform is a first for bio computing, having launched an online platform that provides remote access to 16 human brain organoids. Additionally Wetware computing and organoid intelligence is an emerging research field at the intersection of electrophysiology and artificial intelligence. The core concept involves using living neurons to perform computations, similar to how Artificial Neural Networks operate. Personal computing will become intra-personal and intra-cellular. Each human neuron will be hijacked by a self-growing, self-repairing, molecular network. Computers will be networks of polymer filaments growing inside and together with a human. 'Seeds' of the networks will be injected into embryos in the first month of their development. They will form a gigantic network inside the brain. Computers will be inside us in a human machine fusion. They will span all living creatures in a united computing network.
DARPA has under construction devices to ‘read and write memories directly into the brain’, whilst its next generation nonsurgical neurotechnology programme includes a platform enabling the brain to transmit or receive magneto electric signals via transducers injected into the body. The human brain is apparently ideal hardware for Al, but, as humanity is being saved from drowning, what will it cost us? AI is moving at an extremely fast pace and only getting bigger and faster. It is unstoppable, but the way it is used can be changed. How can we manage it without irrevocably ‘messing’ with humanity; those who hold the reins of power may indeed prefer to have a team of robots rather than a thinking, unpredictable humanity.
But we are drawing ever closer to a specific astrological aspect which begins to perfect next year (2025). Might it herald our ability to take part in the beginning of a potential dawning of a new age of consciousness if we take the opportunity? In summer 2025 many planets, including the outermost planets that signify the energy of the collective, are at the beginnings of signs; and the three outermost planets – Uranus, Neptune and Pluto –will come to an exact triangular pattern with each other (a minor grand trine). Such an aspect is harmonious and positive, but it is ‘lazy’ energy – we have to put in effort to gain opportunities from it.
Uranus was first discovered in the 18th century, Neptune in the 19th and lastly Pluto in the 20th. Uranus heralded a much more intellectual and scientific age where everything was explained logically and rationally. Neptune then symbolised a more romantic non-logical age; and then Pluto, driven by power and control, brought the spectre and threat of destruction of the world via nuclear power and fascist energies that still remain in the background. Jessica Davidson comments in her astrology blogs, that the energies of these three planets have not been fully integrated and merged together within society as they should have been.
We can stand in our own power (Pluto) but we have to do this without ego (Neptune). Neptune asks us to transcend our egos and go beyond our limitations (Saturn). Mass media is Neptune, hypnotising us under its spell, but its control by corporations and governments is Pluto. Breaking through this will not easy. It may well require the short, sharp Uranus induced shock element to wake people up to what is actually going on. For instance, the USA is being led by an incapable geriatric. Who on earth do people think is actually running the country, because it is not who they think it is? Perhaps just because he is an alternative to Trump the people choose to ignore the evidence in front of their eyes. It is also a nation at the forefront of a force for war – it is a Plutonian nation demonstrating its need to stay at the number one spot as it goes through its Pluto return. One of its targets is wiping out Russia and, therefore, the background story which might explain why Putin invaded Ukraine is glossed over and ignored. Another saving fish from drowning scenario which could risk our futures.
The mass media has lured the people into a fantasy world created for them by the system that is destroying them. Mass ‘culture’ is used as a drug to keep people asleep – as in the blue pill of the Matrix. Many have already descended into a half madness, desperately pretending that everything is fine and yet too afraid to take the red pill and face the awakening of the truth of Uranus. Jessica Davidson comments that we must face Pluto by descending into the darkness and traumas of his depths for it is only by doing so that we can transcend with Neptune. Unless individuals become more aware and participate in their own evolution we cannot develop as a humanity.
We should all perhaps take note of Aleksandar Vucic’s, the Serbian president, recent interview where he is clear that ‘the train has already left the station’ and it is almost too late. He is referring to Ukraine and how we are sleepwalking into a full-blown world war in the name again of ‘saving fish from drowning’. The masses are the expendable cannon fodder – the moral excuse to gain global control ‘for our own good’. Where are the calls for peace that should be deafening if the people were in their right minds?
Neptune is at the focal point of the upcoming outer planetary triangle next year between Pluto, Uranus and Neptune, and it is Neptune that is highlighted at this Full Moon in a square aspect to both Sun and Moon. If we have not fully integrated the positive sides of the Neptune archetype, it will likely undermine our concept of reality and blur the boundaries. Neptune has been at the anaretic 29th degree of its own sign of Pisces since early May and will remain there until October, so we will have plenty of time to experience his worst traits – confusion, veiling of the truth, deception particularly by the media, which in itself is a product of Neptune. But then as Saturn comes up to meet Neptune at the beginning of the triangular formation in 2025/2026 he will force us to question our realities by asking us to raise our conscious awareness.
Since 2020 either Jupiter or Saturn – the planets that act as a bridge between the personal planets and the outermost planets – have met up with each of the outer planets. First in 2020 Saturn met Pluto, indicating the harshness and the cruelty of the time. Then in 2024 Jupiter met Uranus symbolising sudden large and extreme events, possibly within the earth in terms of its climate or activity, as well as extreme and disruptive technologies such as AI; and then next year, but not exactly perfecting until 2026, Saturn meets Neptune. Maybe then we will integrate Neptune’s energy as we step out of la la land and confront reality. This is not a film – we cannot press pause, fast forward, rewind or even choose not to watch. This will be the reality we have created and we will be forced to face it. As Aleksandar Vucic warned – the train has left the station. It is very nearly too late.
At the centre of all of this lies our bodies and our relationship with our bodies. We have been lulled into taking them for granted and, therefore, do not see their worth and how amazing they really are. At this Full Moon we should perhaps stop, take a breath and think – before we are ‘saved from drowning’; what we have is already so amazing that we must do our very best to save it before it becomes just a synthetic construct. The Moon in Capricorn is governed by Saturn which does indeed signify the structures of our bodies. However, Saturn currently is placed in the sign of Pisces where he is echoing that we need to gain mastery over the more subtle energies of our bodies – the ones that we must feel with our senses. There is a subtle esoteric and ethereal energy above the physical energy – our connection with the divine, the creator. Those who have designs to lead the control of society via AI are not our elected representatives. What they have designs on is power, profits and total control over us, which is a ‘cover up’ for ‘messing’ with humanity and changing it for ever, ostensibly to save us from drowning. Beware!
