Meet Moira
On July 5th we have a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn – the final eclipse for this little season – and it follows on from a very potent New Moon Solar Eclipse on the world point. Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter are all retrograde in Capricorn, with Jupiter and Pluto making their second of three joining up sessions. The last time they did that was at the end of March/early April (lockdown time for us in the UK). Pluto can represent hysteria, whilst Jupiter ramps up the volume of whatever planet he touches. So in March we took our hysteria outwards by buying up all the toilet roll and flour we could find. As this current meeting occurs, with both planets retrograde this time, the hysteria is still there but it feels as though it is turned inwards in some way. Maybe now it feels less like hysteria and more like paranoia and an inward looking pandemic of fear. Full Moons are for revealing but people are concealing (Pluto) their faces with masks, many don’t want to come out of their hidey holes and many don’t really even want to go back to work.
Saturn and Isolation
Saturn’s entry into Aquarius demonstrated the loneliness, the isolation and the authoritative powers of isolation. Saturn deals in realities and now back in Capricorn he is going to reveal the first glimpses of the horrific financial costs we will face. Get your financial ducks in a row peeps – we are coming up to crunch time. The virus has mainly wiped out older members of society and I fear they may have another shock coming in terms of the value of their pensions.
Mercury Retrograde
Mercury is retrograde, so communications are not exactly on point. Mercury is also a significator of young people who, it seems, have been almost abandoned to their own devices by the system. Whilst great strides were made to build what turned out to be largely unused hospital facilities, the same cannot be said for providing extra space for our children at school. And now we see a huge problem as bored teenagers without any structure to their lives are coming together to otherwise quiet outdoor areas to congregate, often in a very anti-social manner. They are prime targets for those peddling the latest hippy crack and other drugs. There’s another two months to go before there is any hope of them going back to school, but they are now restless and bored and a prime focus for being led astray.
Stay Away from Me!!!
Many families are still divided because of fear of the virus. It made me feel so sad to read how so many grandparents have yet to hold new grandchildren and how new mothers are suffering anxiety about anyone touching their offspring. Now weddings can go ahead, but fathers may not be able to walk their daughters down the aisle, we won’t be able to sing and properly celebrate and there is endless sanitizing before and after the exchanging of rings. I have to pinch myself as I wonder how on earth we arrived so quickly in a world where we are made to feel like lepers?
Warrior Mars
Mars has skipped into his happy home of Aries where he will remain until early January next year. Normally he stays in a sign for six week not six months!! Whilst we do need someone who can take action, if he has no support he could wreak havoc. In Aries he is the soldier, the warrior. He is primed for action of some kind. He wants what he wants for himself and he wants it right now! He lives by his wit, runs on adrenalin and is ready to spring into action. Pointed in the right direction he is enterprising and has the valour of a knight – pointed in the wrong direction though he is rash, impatient, self-centred and primed for a fight. What could possibly go wrong? With Mars at the stress point of the Full Moon sitting with Chiron – where we are wounded and where we can heal - how will Mars roll?
Meet Moira and her mates
So let me introduce you to Moira – or to be accurate the three Moirae. The Moirae were the three goddesses of fate who personify man’s destiny. Their names were Klothos, Lacheris and Atropos. Klothos spun the thread of life, Lacheris determined man’s “lot” or destiny for this life and Atropos cut the thread when she decided man’s time on earth was over. The Moirae were described as either serious maidens, or ugly old women who were stiff, severe and inflexible. The Moirae also had female company in the form of the Furies who were said to have been born from the blood of Uranus to Gaia, Goddess of the Earth. They were depicted as three hags, with snakes for hair and with eyes dripping in blood. Delightful! The Furies are very ancient deities who dispensed punishment and justice particularly against wrongs done to the Earth. Their job was to punish crimes ranging from moral crimes such as anger, through to infidelity, theft and murder. Feels a bit like we have the full force of the Moirae and the Furies right now.
Which way?
We are living at a point where we are moving from one era to the next. This is all shown in the endless succession of new cycles this year and in the signal given in 2012 as one major Mayan Long Count ended and a new one began. The signposts seem to be pointing in the direction of some kind of reset. Is it financial reset, societal reset, some other kind of reset or lots of resets/paradigm shifts all rolled into one? Maybe ET never actually went home!!!
So what key trigger points do we have coming up to watch for?
· Currently Mars’ six month entry to Aries on a world point and squaring the recent Solar Eclipse also on a world point, just as Jupiter and Pluto make their middle meet up, is a real biggy. We don’t get many eclipses exactly on the Cancer world point like this last one. We had one in 2001 and then before that it was during the 1600’s. 2001 was a pretty eventful year with a huge earthquake in India killing 20,000 people, the dot.com bubble, the collapse of Enron and the Worldcom fraud – and of course 9/11 which changed our outlook on life big time. 9/11 also happened as Mars opposed the eclipse world point. In the 1600s we had a wake up call when we realized that the world was neither flat nor revolved around us! We are now in the midst of another wake up call.
· Jupiter and Pluto final meeting up time in November
· Jupiter/Saturn conjunction, heralding a new socio economic era, in December at 0 degrees Aquarius. Saturn will be the stronger planet and the way things are heading I fear we could see a lot more social unrest, social restrictions and digital surveillance, particularly if we remain inward focused and don’t learn that there is strength within the community.
· January 2021 - Mars meets up with Uranus and squares Jupiter/Saturn. That really could be explosive.
Just like 2001 I think we will see bankruptcies, unemployment and financial issues, but perhaps worse than then because we hadn’t shut the world down then through a virus. All will become clearer as furlough begins to end and the real cost begins to show. Meanwhile whilst we have all been distracted by the virus, behind the scenes it’s all been happening in terms of China (the path of the last two eclipses). China and India are both nuclear armed and have been having fisticuffs on the border. China is cracking down hard on freedoms in Hong Kong and there is also news of another swine flu strain waiting in the wings out there. Furthermore, China has been cosying up to the Islamic regime of Iran (both have been the focus of US sanctions) – this is really frightening. And of course we have had violence, shootings and stabbings (all very Mars) on both sides of the Atlantic.
The Lemmings
Saturn and Pluto are both significators of death and Jupiter in the frame ramping up the volume could indicate what some say is a mass extinction. I feel like I am watching lemmings just follow each other over the cliff. But if you are reading this then you are part of the solution. You are part of creating the next paradigm of society. I don’t believe it has to be about lemmings and lepers.
Hope
I have been listening to another talk by the amazing Zach Bush M.D.[1] What follows is based largely on his thoughts. How nice it was to actually listen to someone making sense and not ratcheting up the fear volume. As he says humanity wouldn’t even be here if it wasn’t for viruses – we are made from viruses. The coronavirus has actually been with us for more than a thousand years in some form. So we have to find our place in life alongside the viruses, respectful of their place and our place.
We are treating symptoms and not the cause. We are not treating wholistically and, because we are looking self centredly inwards, we are not looking at the bigger picture. We are doing just as Boris says – the ‘whack a mole’ theory – but as soon as you whack down one mole another pops up somewhere else. That’s just damage limitation.
In Bush’s view the root cause is the toxic soil full of glyphosates that we use to grow our food, the toxic water that we drink, the toxic meat as our animals are pumped full of antiobiotics, the toxic air that we breathe in and our attitude to basic nutrition and basic nutrients.
The biggest proportion of those who have died from this virus were elderly and had co-morbidities, particularly in terms of cardio-vascular disease, diabetes and kidney disease. What these ailments have in common is that statins and Ace2 inhibitors are the drugs of choice. Whilst corona is a natural part of the body’s natural communication network, by prescribing these drugs, which are attractors of this virus, we have changed the terrain of our bodies. We are also hitting a stress point with the largest geriatric population ever, as the baby boomer generation is now hitting a critical age. What should this aged population be prescribed – time out in the sunshine and good quality food. In the main that is not what they are getting.
Connect to Nature
Quite by accident lockdown proved to us that when the air cleared and farmers also could not get hold of their usual levels of glysophates, we all breathed for once and the virus went on the run too. If we could only connect back to nature and to bio diversity, the health of our gut biome would improve massively. Instead we created the perfect storm of toxicity. But the virus is the symptom and not the cause – the symptom of a system in collapse. We are surrounded by disease – and not just in our bodies. Diseased media, diseased social media, diseased mental attitudes. We are looking at a symptom of a collapsing system as we have bought into a pandemic of fear where grandmothers can’t hold their grandchildren, where individuals police the behavior of others accusing them of murder via their behavior; a collapsing system where the systems within our body can’t communicate properly with each other. If we live in a toxic environment, put toxic food in our body how can the different parts of our body ever hope to communicate with each other? Is it any wonder we have so many issues with auto-immune disease?
Another wave?
Yes we probably will see another surge and there is a good physiological reason for that. Epidemics historically have two seasons before they burn out and November historically becomes flu season, even though respiratory viruses have been around long before November. And the reason is the cycle of the seasons. Between the end of October and the end of November we get an explosion of C02, methane and carbon particulates in the air because of the silencing of the soil in the winter. The virus then binds to this particulate matter in the atmosphere and then all this pollution along with the virus is brought into the lungs which have already been ‘pharmaceuticalised’ to receive it. In polluted cities there is also a rise in cyanide in the air released from the energy sector and cyanide in the body poisons the red blood cells that carry oxygen. This produces similar symptoms to COVID - hypoxia - as the body is unable to take in oxygen. Bush states that we actually knew this happened in 2002 during the SARS outbreak but we did nothing but try to create a vaccine which ultimately failed. So are people dying because of the virus or because of the result of the stress of a damaged ecosystem?
What can we do?
Moira doesn’t like it when we sleepwalk; she is happier when we take some personal responsibility for our fate. Staying safe doesn’t make you strong – somehow we have to understand that we are a product of viruses and we have to learn how to live alongside them. There’s a new swine flu waiting in the wings – will we lock down at every virus because if we do there will be nothing worth coming out of homes for. There will be nothing! The key is ultimately the health of the ecosystem of the earth and the health of the ecosystem of our bodies. But, if you are reading this, you are meant to be a participant in the creation of our futures, not a passive bystander. Connect back to nature. Connect to your intuition, to your heart and connect to others through your hearts. Avoid buying into the unrest, the hatred and the violence the divisiveness. We are in a pandemic of fear, which is so bad for our bodies and our minds. Focus on the bigger picture and the root cause, rather than just ‘whack-a-moleing’ the symptoms.
