Book me a one way ticket to la la land

This Full Moon is in the sign of Pisces – a sign that embraces compassion and empathy, as well as fantasy, illusion, dreams and delusion.  It’s the sign that most represents la-la-land where we can enter an imaginal world and forget our daily troubles and trials.  A one-way trip to la la land seems a very appealing prospect right now only returning when we get back to normal.  But will we ever get normal again?

Yes we will, but I think it will be a different normal – maybe eventually a better normal.  Over the last few months we have seen some of the best of humanity and some of the worst.   As we entered lockdown there was an upside as we breathed clean air and saw clear skies.   We spied nature in her glory and we appreciated her.   However, many were also quick to take her for granted again and litter her with rubbish, not helped by a return to an increased consumption of one-time plastics and discarded disposable masks.

Sometimes when we feel a bit stuck it is good to strip back and go right back to basics – to the fundamental archetypal meanings of the planets and their signs. The basic principle of astrology is that the planets have a connection to specific archetypal forces which influence human existence, and the patterns formed by the planets bear a meaningful correspondence to the patterns of human affairs on the Earth.  As above so below.  The archetypal nature of the planets permeates the human psyche and behaviour and shows us that there is an ordering principle behind our cosmos.  They show us that our cosmos is both ensouled and sentient.  As the philosopher Plotinus said – All things depend on each other.  Everything breathes together.

Back to our Pisces Full Moon.  For the nature of Pisces we look to the archetypal natures of both Jupiter and Neptune – they are Pisces’ bosses.  The nature of Neptune is the dissolving of boundaries – boundaries between ourselves and others, as well as boundaries between all realities.   Neptune at its highest connects us to the spirit of the World Soul – the Anima Mundi – and asks that we transcend reality and enter the spiritual world in order to achieve an inner state of sacred consciousness.   In this way we connect to the numinous, to the divine and the idea that there is an invisible cosmic ordering force which is for the highest good.

Jupiter also asks us to integrate within a larger world and he asks that we do this by opening our minds, expanding our wisdom and our consciousness.  Jupiter represents the impulse to grow and to achieve by adopting high moral codes and elevating our knowledge and our ambition so that we seek something higher and better.    All sounds great and very happy clappy, and it is if we follow both these archetypes at their purest principles.

However, archetypes also have shadow sides if we don’t integrate their natures within our own psyches at their purest forms.  Neptune – the planet of dreams and what is not real - can lead us to just want to escape reality without actually transcending and connecting with the numinous.  And Jupiter, if we can’t be bothered to truly expand our knowledge to a higher place, just inflates what is already there.  In other words we whack out on escapist tendencies of drugs, alcohol and use whoopy ‘new age’ words, whilst actually feeling totally superior with a sense of entitlement, wastefulness and privilege.

With the lack of boundaries perhaps we need to acknowledge the fact that in a limitless world we are not alone here.  The Pentagon has recently released information on materials that have been retrieved from ‘off world’ areas.   There is also a US task force to monitor and gain information on aerial phenomena as though they are a threat. Rather than UFOs they are now called UAPs.   Current planetary cycles indicate existential threats to our lives.  Right now our focus is the virus and this virus is clearly being used as a threat to our way of life but who are these extra-terrestrials?   They must exist else why pour money into a task force if a threat has not been identified?

Neptune in this Full Moon chart once again highlights the young – a constant theme right now in my blogs.  And no surprise that they are being highlighted again.  There’s a ‘lost’ and sorrowful side to our young right now; I truly  believe that levels of paedophilia if made public would shock us to the core.   It is much easier to just try to pretend that this can’t be happening in 2020.  And our young who are trying to grow their lives through education have been totally let down by the artificial political algorithms that govern exam results and arguments about returning to school.

There’s also a big fat spotlight on lies and fake news (all very Neptune) at this Full Moon.  Sadly we are living in a world of lies – we are lied to constantly on so many levels and because the wealthy few now control so much of our media we have no idea what is fake and what is true.  Main stream media is in the hands of just a few owners who call the shots as well I have recently discovered the Chinese.   And if you ever believed that the BBC is a trustworthy alternative source, you only have to look at the huge list of what is not allowed to be mentioned.   So any form of true investigative journalism is now rare.   Neptune draws a veil of invisibility so it is easy when you are lied to so much to drift into a state of cognitive dissonance.

Neptune also links with our immune systems – that invisible something within our bodies that fights off infections.   Neptune can often indicate diseases that have no real diagnosis where our own bodily defences are undermined.   And Neptune also governs epidemics.   So what is always sidestepped by authorities?   Advice to take responsibility for our own health and to keep our own immune systems healthy so that we can ward off disease.  How many people actually really know that our bodies are designed to find their own balance and to heal themselves?   That is the miracle of nature – but we are conditioned to think that we need to be medicated.

The Full Moon chart clearly shows the anger and the unrest that I can certainly feel as an underlying layer of energy.   This is represented by the planet Mars and Mars is integrally connected to the energy that reflects the deep breakdown and changes within our society right now.   But Mars is our own internal warrior.  We need to feel angry so we can engage our warrior mode – but direct the anger constructively at those who try to deceive us (Neptune in Pisces) so that we stay strong, have the courage to become wise and enter the realm of the divine so that we can create a world that we want to be part of.

Under the mantle of an epidemic more and more controls are being brought in over us and we are acquiescing without fully realizing the consequences.  The deception is off the richter scale as the invisible ‘they’ say they are just trying to keep us safe.  It’s all for our own good.  Your smartphones and your smart devices are tracking you all the time.  As 5G rolls out and ‘smart’ use is increased you will be tracked and monitored.  Money is now regarded as unclean in a time of Covid – this will hasten the roll out of digitized money and every penny you spend will be tracked.   And to be honest it’s so convenient to just point your smartphone and pay.  But if there’s no alternative payment method have you really though through the potential consequences?   Your source of money could be withheld from you at the flick of a switch.  Conform or no money!!  You think you have free will?   In your Neptunian dreams!!!!

Neptune also points to scandals.  Deaths from Covid are downgraded by over 5,000 as even some who died in car accidents have been classified as Covid deaths just because the individual had tested positive a month before.   A paper submitted to the Government’s own scientific advisory group, SAGE, estimated that 16,000 people had died up to May 1, thanks to missed medical care following the shutdown of the country. They suggested another 26,000 could die by next March for the same reason.   Personally I think that figure will be higher.  And as for our elderly – lost and confused in care homes with no ability to understand why their dearest and closest no longer come to visit – well don’t even go there!!!

And la la land itself – Hollywood – I read is not quite so la la land.  It is being deserted by the rich and famous in the wake of the coronavirus effect on movie land.  Instead this city built on dreams is fast becoming a place for the homeless, drug addicts and violent criminals.

Neptune is also debt and we are now £2 trillion in debt and rising.  That is seriously eye watering.  How many decades will that take to pay off?  And Neptune is confusion of which we certainly have a glut?  It’s so hard right now to know what is true.

But the whole point of my blogs is to show where each full and new moon is leading so that we can go forward positively.  We can continue deluding ourselves and live in our own personal la la lands or we can connect to the highest levels of spiritual wisdom, look beyond the fences and walls to some kind of higher way that society can live.   I don’t see how we avoid some kind of big change in our lives – but we need courage to transcend, to reach for the stars and see what we could have if we were more selfless and less selfish.  Only then can we truly expand and elevate ourselves to something higher and greater.  We need courage and steadfastness to accept that everything has a shelf life – and that includes the way we have been living and treating our planet.

Aquarius is both technology and society.  So firstly how can we use technology as our friend and for our good, rather than as means of control and debasing what it means to be human?  It can be done but of course it is in the interests of some to keep man enslaved and controlled.    A recent podcast I listened to spoke of inventions in free energy (which of course are not on offer to us just because they are free), together with progressive innovation (Aquarius) in medicine.   But right now we are controlled by Big Pharma so it’s not in their interests to give us these transformative discoveries.  Far better for them to keep us constantly medicated.

If we are to survive we need to be co-operative members of a community and a society?   We have to learn to work together and to support each other as co-operating members of a true community.  If we carry on as we are we will surely destroy ourselves.  Let’s find courage to achieve change without fighting and become participating members of a golden society.   So much is hidden under a veil from us (Neptune in Pisces) but our current ways are being blown wide apart.   There is so much toxicity in our current way of life – human trafficking, child trafficking, corruption at the highest levels of government, financial corruption, the tilt towards communism/fascism – I could go on and on. It’s all hidden within the artificial just as our finances are propped up by smoke, mirrors and sand.

All things depend on each other.  Everything breathes together
