Meanwhile in Clown World
On October 17th we arrive at the last quarter moon before the solar eclipse of October 25th. A last quarter moon is a point of endings and the scrambling of new seeds which will be sewn at the New Moon. Endings and beginnings. The Moon is strong in her own sign of Cancer – the everyday people, the home, the family. But this Moon is in direct conflict with Pluto (corruption, Death, Power and Transformation) and with the Sun (leaders) as well as Venus.
The Sun is still tracking Venus – financial matters, relationships, women. Now, one would expect the Sun and Venus in Libra to be describing a point of love, light and peace such as the flower power moments of the 1960’s. What we are seeing, however, is quite the opposite, shown by Pluto’s position squaring the Sun (in the sign of his detriment) and opposing the Moon. Leaders don’t seem to want peace at all.
Venus (finances) trines both Mars and Saturn - so some kind of restriction aided by the ‘war of words’ and perhaps ‘old men’ in control is highly likely to be easily affecting our finances. But we also have Mars square Neptune – what exactly is this war of words? The UK government appears to be hurtling towards some kind of Armageddon where its only advantage will lie in its ability to give lessons on how to become a third world banana republic. Will this be the shortest UK Prime Minister in history? Her Sun sits with the UK Jupiter, both of which receive an exact square at the solar eclipse!
Jupiter is on the world point getting closer to Neptune and still triggers the Saturn/Uranus square. As ruler of the 8th house of ‘other people’s money in this quarter moon chart set for London, the likelihood of a fall out within pension funds/gilts/currencies is both highly likely and already happening. Venus should be strong in her own sign of Libra; she should be able to escape the grasp of the Sun, but she appears to have been captured
The agitation for war is being weaponised and propagandised – probably 90% of war is all about who controls the narrative. The people’s view is clearly veiled right now (Neptune trine Moon exact, Mars square Neptune) – most just cannot see what is really happening. But, of course, we must remember that a lot of people become very rich through war mongering. Libra has two sides and just like WW2 the leaders and the elite are very likely playing both sides for their own ends, whilst lining their pockets handsomely.
But we are at a pivotal point within our very civilisation structure and all must change. And, to achieve change, first we have pain. We need a better financial structure; we need leaders who value their people and who will work for their people’s interests. And despite the fact that Mercury (voice, mind, communication) is wounded right now at this Quarter Moon, Mercury is never far from the Sun. Mercury holds the position of court jester, and as such he has the ear of the King, the leader. He has the power to influence – so no matter how hard it is, no matter how much we might feel cancelled, we must see beyond the illusion.
Venus represents women; women have fought hard to gain recognition and status over generations. Now it appears to be extremely difficult for our leaders to even describe what the word woman means, whilst birthing centres, midwives etc., must defer to the agenda of dealing with pregnant people and birthing people. Venus should be strong in her own sign of Libra; what on earth has happened to her?
So, as we are a week away from the actual date of the Solar Eclipse, the main focus looks as though it will be financial. We are already in eclipse energy which will continue for several months. And we have cavemen leaders who appear to be dragging Venus along by her ponytail whilst spewing out a barrel of lies!!
