The Frogs are Close to Boiling Point
On September 3rd we have a very key New Moon in the zodiac sign of Virgo, forming a T-square with Saturn and Jupiter. I spoke in my last Full Moon blog about this first waxing square of Jupiter and Saturn since their momentous 2020 conjunction marked the beginning of a new 200-year era in the element of Air. I commented that Jupiter/Saturn aspects are markers of changing socio/economic situations and now we see the new Government in the UK bringing in regulations to clamp down (Saturn) on society’s freedoms, particularly freedom of speech (Jupiter in Gemini, the most talkative sign in the zodiac and symbolic of social media). And it is Jupiter in Gemini that is the focal point of the T-square. It doesn’t matter where in the world you are – if you are deemed to be ‘threatening’ the UK, then you could be arrested and extradited, they have warned. Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, has been arrested in France and bailed on five charges, whilst Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski has left Europe, as the net of censorship and surveillance closes in. Might Musk be a target? His platform X has just been banned in Brazil. Zuckerberg has revealed that the Biden/Harris administration pressured Facebook into censoring American free speech and the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story.
Mars, weaponizing the T-square, is still just in the mix with Jupiter, but he has moved forward and is now almost at the anaretic 29-degree marker, along with Pluto at 29 Capricorn and Neptune at 29 Pisces. This 29-degree marker is where planets are much more likely to expose their more shadowy side. Uranus also is not far off this anaretic degree, as we ready ourselves for some kind of new beginning next summer when so many planets will be at early degrees of their signs.
As I commented in the last blog, there will be two more ‘hits’ in this Jupiter/Saturn square series – the next on Christmas Eve and the final one in June 2025 where Saturn will fall on the Aries world point, bringing in the effect of Cardinal ‘action’ energy together with the force of the exact in 2026 Saturn/Neptune conjunction. This is very complex and difficult energy and the final ‘hit’ is perhaps the most dangerous period. It perhaps reflects comments from the economic commentator Martin Armstrong, who recently described the WEF as a ‘terrorist’ organisation. The WEF, who openly declare that they have penetrated cabinets globally, have forecast a period of polycrisis, promising “civil unrest, economic collapse, World War III, and the evaporation of a nation” together with eco-anxiety and plenty of mental health issues to add to the joy.[1] Armstrong goes on to warn that “they will use all of the aforementioned fear tactics to drain the people of their power. The globalists are willing to batter the masses with a series of attacks that will act as a staunch warning that there is nowhere to run. The government will come in to save the day from the crises they create. Which government? A global government that is capable of assembling to control the entire human population.” We now see in the UK a crackdown on free speech in a country always renowned for its freedom of expression. We have only ever seen anything on this scale before in communist countries.
The New Moon is ruled by Mercury, now out of retrograde and in the sign of Leo. Mercury makes just one aspect, which on September 7th will become exact – a square to Uranus. Mercury is the planet symbolising the mind, the voice, communication, whilst Uranus is the maverick revolutionary of the zodiac – he delivers sudden events that often shock individuals into an awakening energy. The two are in signs of Fixed stubborn, dogmatic energy, so this could be an interesting experience. Will something happen to suddenly make people realise the extent of the restrictions against them?
The Virgo energy of this New Moon will energise Keir Starmer’s Sun/Pluto conjunction. The Virgo individual seeks to bring order out of chaos so that perfection may be brought to situations via discernment and humility. I think perhaps Starmer may not have received the humility memo; he is likely to be extremely keen on going for complete power and control. Virgo is very symbolic of ‘the harvest’; we might ask ourselves what harvest he is wanting to reap. The average Virgo seeks to be useful through practical help and being of ‘service’. But in Starmer’s case being of service to whom and to what? Health is often high on the list of the Virgo individual, so it is interesting to note that the prominent Jupiter in this New Moon chart aspects the chart of the first administering of the so called ‘health treatment’ in 2020.
Retrograde Pluto is back at 29 degrees Capricorn for his farewell swansong, where he symbolises the strength of the top-down hierarchical organisations – such as governments, banks and large corporates. Neptune at 29 Pisces is busily fudging the media; if only society could allow itself to positively embrace Neptune’s ability to transcend and take a more spiritual, compassionate path rather than the self-centred one. And Mars at the end of Gemini square to Neptune isn’t really helping. Saturn, whose ethics have very blurred boundaries in Pisces, is in a semi-square Pluto – these are both planets of regulations and authority, so this represents I feel a society coming under harsh controls – just as we did when the two planets were conjunct in 2020.
To completely cook a frog you have to bring it up to temperature slowly; if the frog were to be thrown into already boiling water he would just jump straight out, but if instead the temperature just keeps ratcheting up by a few degrees at a time the frog has a chance to get used to his situation. ‘The frog’ is being ‘conditioned’ so that he doesn’t realise he is going to be cooked and eaten; he only notices when the water reaches boiling point and by then it is too late. Substitute the words ‘the masses’ for frog.
The ’frog’ has been lulled into a false sense of security and trust that the government will always have the people’s best interests at heart, but now at the Jupiter/Saturn square we are at the point of very harsh jail sentences (Saturn/Pluto) for so-called offences of mis-information and dis-information that would once have just been part of normal discussion. People are now beginning to self-censor because they are becoming fearful, but yet very little resistance is being seen so far – only mutterings. All that seems to be needed is the threat. But this is exactly how civil unrest begins.
The ruling classes have always tried to get their way, generally succeeding in the past. However, in an age of internet connection for all, things are different and new battles need to be, and are being, fought. As people begin to use a Virgo type of discernment, it is possible to see that, for the first time, certain sectors of society have worked out what is going on and are trying to warn the rest of society. Clearly though this is a threat that must be curtailed by the powers that be. Never before have they had to face the power of the internet and universal connection for the masses. If the frog suddenly ‘wakes up’ and becomes aware of what is happening, he may just jump out of the pot before he is boiled; Mercury squaring Uranus may just provide that required shock.
Pluto only returns to Capricorn for a short time – he returns fully into Aquarius on November 19th, where he will remain for the next 20 years or so. As I said earlier Pluto in Capricorn symbolises the age of the large hierarchical structures such as governments and large corporates who have joined forces to become huge untouchable structures of money and strength. They have been able to create money out of nothing and allow it to disappear into a black hole of Government spending that lacks accountability. Pluto in Aquarius, however, symbolises the strength of the individual, the community and the collective. Pluto last entered Aquarius at the time of the French revolution, where the people stood up to their tyrannical government.
I don’t know if the powers that be understand and follow astrology – maybe they do, but it would seem at the moment to reflect in a more Satanic way than one that is for the good; perhaps because the anaretic 29-degree has been so prominent. The symbolic devolution potential of Pluto in Aquarius is shown very much in the C40 cities plan, which is an organisation of mayors of major cities around the world, with more in the pipeline. Currently there are almost 100 mayors of the world’s leading cities involved. It was created in 2005 at a Saturn/Neptune opposition and interestingly in 2026 we have a Saturn/Neptune conjunction at a point of global significance. The C40 movement was initially created to fight the so-called ‘climate crisis’ by driving ‘urban action’. Pluto in Aquarius suggests that we have a background energy that changes from top-down hierarchical structures (Capricorn) to one that is more focused on the collective and the individual – so much smaller and much more reflective of the individual than the big boys. Hence the C40 network. But is there a person controlling them – are they truly working for the collective? Because this would suggest a mere façade of devolution to the individual but not a reality. One truly ‘good’ mayor could change this.
This New Moon suggests that we must be much more discerning about the facts we take in. A true Virgo would not take information at face value; they would critically assess and seek knowledge. So difficult at the moment to really discern what is the truth. What else have we seen since the Full Moon? On the exact day of the Full Moon we saw the freak sinking of the superyacht Bayesian and the deaths of tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch, his daughter and other passengers. Lynch was celebrating his acquittal in a high-profile fraud case and in a bizarre ‘coincidence’ his co-defendant was killed just a few days earlier whilst out jogging. The event indeed raises more questions than answers. Predictably also tensions are still rising in the Middle East, particularly between Israel and Lebanon and in Ukraine/Russia.
Also, just after the Full Moon R.F. Kennedy Jnr., in a historic moment in American politics, endorsed Trump in the U.S. presidential race, claiming that the Democratic party of his uncle and his father, of which he has been a life-time supporter, has departed from its core values; clearly not too different to what we see in the UK with the Labour party, as both appear to have become what appears to be WEF/globalist parties. Kennedy’s name as an independent candidate remains on the ballot papers, apart from in 10 key swing states where his name will be removed to allow a straight fight. In his keynote speech he said “I left the Democratic party in October because it had departed so dramatically from the core values I grew up with. It had become the party of war, censorship, corruption, Big Pharma, Big Tech and Big Money. It abandoned democracy”. He went on to talk about the censorship of social media and to describe how mainstream media had once been “the guardian of the First Amendment and democratic principles.” He also pointed out the sheer waste of Ukrainian and Russian lives in what he described as “a proxy war in a geopolitical struggle initiated by the ambitions of the US neocons for American global hegemony.” “The reckless neocon project of extending NATO to encircle Russia” he said, was “a hostile act.” We can see the same corruption within the UK, particularly now with regard to the access to Number 10 pass for Labour peer Lord Alli, whose peerage was created by Blair.
0 degrees Aquarius was the point of the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in 2020, marking the start of a new socio-economic era, and that is where Pluto will also make his mark for the final time in our lifetimes in November. Aquarius may be a Fixed sign, but it is also futuristic and innovative. Pluto symbolises transformation and sometimes things have to be completely broken for ‘the frogs’ to realise that they are being boiled. Only then can true transformation take place – true regeneration, renewal and the releasing and re-discovery of our ‘treasures’ – our gifts and talents that we have buried and forgotten, because many around us do not respect or value them. Pluto receives very bad press and, in any associations we make, we are much more used to linking words such as poison and toxicity with Pluto rather than the treasures or ‘jewels in our arsenal’. Since 2008 Pluto has been benefiting the corporate, government and banking bodies – the Capricorn energies. And now we have seen just how corrupt most of them are. It is now the turn of Aquarius – the collective, made up of individuals, authenticity and truth.
As we approach a lunar eclipse on September 18th, which still highlights the Jupiter/Saturn square, Martin Armstrong warns on what happens when countries engage in constantly borrowing whilst never paying off the debt. What happens when they can no longer sell their debt? According to Armstrong, ‘China sold a record $53.3 billion worth of US Treasury and agency bonds in the first quarter of 2024’. As of June 2024 China owned around 10% of the US national debt, and yet the US is constantly threatening China over Taiwan. Following the rise of the BRICS nations after the sanctions imposed against Russia, the dollar became weaponised (Mars/Jupiter within the Jupiter/Saturn square) – so what happens when a hugely indebted country can no longer sell its debt?
The explosion of the nuclear reactor in Chernobyl on 26th April 1986 demonstrates that whatever situations our Earth faces, it always results in revival and regeneration. I mention this because that event occurred two days after a Full Moon in Scorpio and, just over two weeks prior to that, a solar eclipse at exactly the same degree as we experienced in early April this year. The nodes (karmic destiny) in the chart for the explosion had just changed signs across the Aries/Libra axis and were at that magical 29-degree marker point. We live at the moment in a world of fixed views and ideologies where the masses are discouraged from crossing lines and making up their own minds. It would be surprising if there wasn’t some kind of ‘explosion’, but whatever that ‘explosion’ may be it is only by adapting that we can change and move forward.
Saturn will begin a new roughly 30-year cycle of the zodiac when he enters Aries on May 25, 2025. Neptune and Uranus will also begin to change signs in 2025 – and then the three outer planets – Pluto, Neptune and Uranus will form what is called a ‘minor triangle’, suggesting positive opportunities for the collective as a whole. But things don’t just happen – they need effort and help. With four planets retrograde at the New Moon – Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto – we have an opportunity to ‘re-view’ our lives. The people must participate in making this a positive change for society before the frogs are boiled and they have no chance of coming back. It is the people who bring the change - first they must see and embrace truth and then take action.
Virgo symbolises discernment of information, together with rituals specifically aimed at health. This New Moon marks a start point for a new attitude to these important and vital areas of our lives. Virgo supports some kind of daily ritual applied to health and in a time of declining health we would be well advised to use this New Moon to begin a new approach to all the things that keep us healthy – a new diet incorporating good nutrition, new exercise perhaps something such as swimming and things that include more spiritual rituals such as meditation and movements that help our minds to be calm. We need healthy bodies and sharp minds to move forward.
